Scope
This document specifies the method for measuring the dielectric constant and loss tangent of solid dielectrics and composite plate materials with frequencies in the range of 1GHz to 20GHz using the closed cavity method. Among them, the test range of dielectric constant is 5~100, and the test range of loss tangent value is 0.00005~0.005. This document is applicable to the measurement of dielectric constant and loss tangent of inorganic materials such as silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, aluminum nitride, zirconium oxide, boron nitride and organic-inorganic composite materials that can be processed into columnar shapes.
