- This standard specifies a tank sampling/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of volatile organic compounds in ambient air. This standard is applicable to the determination of 67 volatile organic compounds such as propylene in ambient air. Other volatile organic compounds can also be measured using this standard if they pass the method suitability verification. When the sampling volume is 400 ml, in full scan mode, the detection limit of this method is 0.2 μg/m3~2 μg/m3, and the lower limit of determination is 0.8 μg/m3~8.0 μg/m3.
