Scope

This document introduces the framework of basic standards such as ISO 11201, ISO 11202, ISO 11203, ISO 11204 and ISO 11205 for measuring emission sound pressure levels at working positions and other designated positions, and is used to guide the following matters: --- Help to write noise test specifications; Provide a physical explanation of the noise emission compared with other noise quantities (see 4.1~4.3); ---Compare the different measurement methods given by the ISO11201~ISO11205 group of standards (see Table 1); ---Help in typical Choose the most appropriate method in the actual situation (see Chapter 6). This document is mainly based on flowcharts and tables, and analysis of examples is given. This document is only applicable to airborne sound and is usually used for noise testing, especially for the preparation of noise testing specifications. The purpose of formulating a standard noise test specification is to select the most suitable standard for a certain type of mechanical equipment from the group of standards ISO11201~ISO11205, and to provide detailed requirements for installation conditions and working conditions of specific types of mechanical equipment and the requirements specified in these standards.
