- This standard specifies a liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of butylxanthate in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of butylxanthate in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater. The target substance measured in this standard is butylxanthogenic acid and does not include other xanthogenic acid substances. When the injection volume is 10.0 μl, the detection limit of butylxanthogen determined by this standard is 0.2 μg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.8 μg/L.
