- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general requirements, operating procedures, cleaning quality, waste liquid treatment and safety requirements for organic heat carrier boilers and system cleaning. This standard is applicable to shutdown cleaning of organic heat carrier boilers and systems with outlet pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) and rated power greater than or equal to 0.1 MW, but is not applicable to shutdown pickling. This standard covers certain hazardous substances, operations and equipment and is not intended to provide recommendations on all safety issues related thereto. Therefore, users should establish appropriate safety and protective measures and determine an applicable management system before using this standard.
