Scope

This standard specifies the DNA barcode molecular identification method for the main edible fish species in Shanghai, and is suitable for the identification of the above-mentioned fish species in fresh fish meat of a single fish species and fish processed products. This standard applies to the order Sharkyformes, Anguiformes, Herringiformes, Cypriniformes, Siluriiformes, Salmoniformes, Codoides, Killiformes, Scorpioniformes, Perciformes, Plaiceiformes and Pupilloniformes.
