Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for lightning protection of electric vehicle charging stations, the design and construction of direct lightning and lightning electromagnetic pulse protection, and the detection and maintenance of lightning protection devices. This standard applies to the lightning protection design, construction, testing and maintenance of newly built, renovated and expanded electric vehicle charging stations.
