Scope
This document establishes procedures and guidelines for the measurement and classification of mechanical vibration in reciprocating compressor systems. The defined vibration magnitudes are mainly used for vibration classification of compressor systems, and to avoid fatigue problems of reciprocating compressor system components (foundation, compressor, damper, piping and ancillary equipment installed in the compressor system). Shaft vibration is not considered. /mi /mi This document applies to rigidly installed reciprocating compressor systems with a rated speed of 120r n~1800r n. The general evaluation criteria proposed are related to the measurement method used. This document is also used to evaluate whether the vibration of the machine has adverse effects on the equipment directly mounted on the machine, such as pulsation dampers and piping systems. Note: The criteria presented in this document can also be used for reciprocating compressors other than the specified speed, but in this case may have to use a different evaluation criteria. For machines driving reciprocating compressors, they will be evaluated in accordance with other parts of ISO 10816, ISO 20816 or other relevant standards and classifications. This document does not cover drivers. The application of this document is limited when considering the influence of machine internal components, such as valves, pistons, piston rings, etc., which are unlikely to be detected from the measurement. Identification of such problems may require the study of diagnostic techniques, which are beyond the scope of this document. The reciprocating compressor systems applicable to this document include: ——horizontal, vertical, V-type, W-type, L-type compressors; ——fixed-speed and variable-speed compressors; ——compressed by electric motors, gas engines, Compressors driven by diesel engines and steam turbines, connected with or without gearboxes, flexible or rigid couplings; - oil-free and oil-lubricated reciprocating compressors. This document does not apply to ultra-high pressure compressors. This document does not apply to condition monitoring, nor is noise within the scope of this document.
