- This standard specifies the method for laboratory measurement and evaluation of the vibration transmissibility of gloves with vibration-damping materials (covered on the palm, fingers and thumb), that is, for vibration at 1/3 octave and a center frequency range of 25 Hz. Method for laboratory measurement, data analysis and reporting of glove vibration transmissibility based on the transmission of vibration from the handle to the palm at ~1250Hz. The measurement methods specified in this standard may also be used to measure the vibration transmissibility of vibration-damping materials covering machine handles or possibly used in gloves. However, when the material covering the handle meets this standard according to the measurement results of this standard, it cannot be used to determine whether it is an anti-vibration covering. If the material measured in this way is used on gloves, in this case, the gloves must be measured according to the measurement steps in this standard and meet the vibration damping performance requirements of this standard before they can be judged as anti-vibration gloves. Note: GB/T19739[1] specifies methods for screening materials used for vibration damping of machine handles and gloves.
