BS EN 1621‑3 contains the requirements for the performance of the protectors under impact and details of the test methods, dimensions, ergonomic requirements, and requirements for innocuousness, labelling and the provision of information. BS EN 1621‑3 defines a product that provides limited protection against mechanical impacts and falls on the chest.
