- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, fire resistance grade and marking, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, product instructions, packaging, transportation, storage, installation and quality and service commitments of single-piece fire-resistant glass. This standard applies to single-piece soda-lime-silica fire-resistant glass manufactured using a comprehensive enhancement technology process that combines physical tempering and/or chemical tempering.
