- This standard specifies the specific test operating procedures for ferrous and non-ferrous metals exposure tests in the atmosphere. This standard is applicable to field tests of atmospheric exposure corrosion tests on various ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Provisions for atmospheric exposure corrosion tests not included in this standard shall comply with the "General Rules for Atmospheric Corrosion Tests of Materials Environmental Corrosion Test Procedures".
