- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic parameters and models, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and quality commitment of lithium-electric drills. This standard applies to hand-held electric drills (hereinafter referred to as lithium-electric drills) that are powered by lithium-ion batteries and are used for drilling metal, plastics and similar materials under general environmental conditions. This standard does not apply to electric drills powered by universal battery packs (battery packs) installed by users themselves, as well as other electric drills powered by non-lithium ion batteries. It also does not apply to impact electric drills and multi-purpose electric drills.
