This document specifies the inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) method for the determination of the migration of lead, cadmium, arsenic, antimony and manganese after glass and ceramic packaging containers are immersed in food simulants. This document is applicable to the determination of migration amounts of lead, cadmium, arsenic, antimony and manganese in glass and ceramic packaging containers. This document applies to various glass and ceramic packaging containers for food, wine, beverages, drinking water, etc. Other non-glass and ceramic packaging containers can be adopted as a reference.
