- This standard stipulates the basic principles, categories and responsibilities, facilities and equipment requirements, management requirements and other basic requirements for the establishment of institutions for the preservation of pathogenic microorganisms (viruses) transmitted to humans. This standard applies to disease prevention and control institutions, medical care, scientific research and teaching, pharmaceutical and biological product production units and other institutions responsible for the national preservation of human-infected pathogenic microorganisms (viruses).
