Scope

This document specifies the ultrasonic surface wave detection method and defect assessment principles for external surface defects of small-diameter tubes in dense tube rows in power stations. This document is applicable to small-diameter pipes with an outer diameter greater than or equal to 45mm and less than or equal to 89mm for intensive pipe discharge in power stations.
