Scope
Form This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of pre-alloyed powder. Application This powder is intended to be used for the additive manufacturing of aerospace parts via a powder bed process requiring oxidation resistance up to 2200 ??(1204 ?? and relatively high strength above 1500 ??(816 ??@ but usage is not limited to such applications. Classification Maximum oxygen concentration is specified as follows: Class A: Maximum oxygen concentration of 0.015% (150 ppm). Class B: Maximum oxygen concentration of 0.030% (300 ppm). Class C: Maximum oxygen concentration of 0.040% (400 ppm).
