Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for internal calibration personnel, methods, facilities, environment and equipment, calibration management and calibration capability review and confirmation of testing laboratories. This standard applies to the internal calibration of testing laboratories that apply for or have received qualification accreditation for their measuring instruments related to accreditation capabilities. It also applies to the review activities of testing laboratories that implement internal calibration for qualification accreditation. This standard does not apply to testing laboratories that have been accredited by CNAS laboratories or have been authorized by provincial legal metrology verification agencies.
