This document specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels and accompanying documents, as well as packaging, transportation and storage requirements for traction drive passenger elevators. This document applies to electric-driven traction passenger elevators with a rated speed not greater than 10?m/s and a rated load not greater than 4000kg. This document does not apply to hydraulic elevators, utility elevators and home elevators.
