Scope: This document establishes a small-scale laboratory screening evaluation procedure for comparing the horizontal combustion characteristics of small samples of flexible porous polymeric materials under small flames. environmental factors or the conditions of use of products made from them. Therefore, the correlation between the test results and the performance of such materials or products under actual use conditions cannot be established. The test is limited to samples with a thickness greater than 5 mm, and the test results of samples with different thicknesses are not comparable.
