Scope
This document specifies the requirements for classification and labeling, packaging, transport and storage, performance and test methods of unused synthetic organic esters for electrical purposes. This document applies to synthetic organic esters used in transformers, switches, and other similar electrical equipment requiring the use of synthetic organic esters as insulation and heat transfer media.
