Scope

This standard specifies the detection method for the power consumption of rubber and plastic extruders (hereinafter referred to as extruders). This standard applies to single-screw and twin-screw rubber and plastic extruders. This standard does not apply to rubber extrusion tablet presses, plastic foam extruders and cascaded plastic extruders.
