- This document specifies the specification rules for indexable inserts of cemented carbide or other cutting materials for cutting tools. This document applies to indexable inserts for cutting tools made of cemented carbide or other cutting materials, and also applies to inserts inlaid with cubic boron nitride and polycrystalline diamond.
