Scope

This standard stipulates 16 marine sediment measurement items and 34 analysis methods, and puts forward technical requirements for sample collection, storage, transportation, pretreatment, measurement results and calculation, etc. This standard is applicable to the investigation and monitoring of sediments in oceans, offshore, estuaries, and harbors, as well as the investigation and monitoring of dredged and dumped objects in offshore, harbors, and estuaries.
