Scope

Technical content: This document specifies qualitative and quantitative tests and rapid evaluation methods for determining the antibacterial properties of home textiles using the 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) reduction method. This document applies to home textiles based on textile raw materials. This document does not address the evaluation of the safety of antibacterial products.
