This document specifies the terms and definitions, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, storage, and transportation of disposable paper straws for food contact. This document is mainly applicable to disposable straws for food contact (hereinafter referred to as paper straws) made of paper processed from wood pulp or other plant fibers as the main raw material and processed by bonding, winding, drying and slitting.
