Scope
This document specifies a multifactorial assessment procedure for adding factors to the diagnostic tests for thermal assessment of electrical insulation systems (EIS). Examples of increasing factors (other than heat) are as follows: --- strong vibration; --- immersion in oil, water or solution; --- test voltage higher than the test voltage of the reference EIS; --- strong cooling shock. Note: Adding a factor refers to introducing a new impact factor or enhancing the factor on the basis of an existing impact factor.
