This document specifies the technical requirements, functional and performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for UHV AC transformer phase selection and switching devices. This document is applicable to the ordering, design, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, installation, testing and operation of the circuit breaker phase selection and switching device configured in the UHV AC transformer. Phase selection and switching devices for transformers of other voltage levels can be implemented with reference to this document.
