- This standard establishes methods for determining the compressive and bending strength of wall materials, including methods for: ——determining the compressive strength of ceramic and sand-lime brick and stone, silicate blocks and slabs, concrete brick and stone; ——determination of the bending strength of bricks (ceramic, silicate, concrete). This standard applies to wall materials for laying walls, columns, vaults, ceilings and other structures
