Scope

This standard specifies the classification and code, size, shape, weight and allowable deviations, surface treatment methods, and surface quality of hot-rolled pickled steel plates and steel strips. This standard applies to hot-rolled pickled steel strips with a thickness of not more than 16mm and a width of not less than 600mm and their sheared steel plates (hereinafter referred to as steel plates and steel strips).
