This part of T/CMTBA1008 gives the definition of data items of equipment objects, component objects and data objects in the CNC equipment industrial interconnection communication protocol (hereinafter referred to as NC-Link) CNC equipment model. This section applies to CNC equipment such as CNC machine tools, industrial robots, automatic trucks, cleaning equipment, testing equipment, automated production lines, and automatic warehouses. Industrial ancillary equipment such as controllers that monitor one or more sensors/actuators may also be used.
