This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rare earth β crystal nucleating agents for polypropylene. This standard applies to β-crystalline nucleating agents made from synthetic and modified rare earth compounds. This additive is mainly used for the modification of polypropylene. Under certain conditions, it can convert polypropylene from α crystal form to β crystal form.
