Scope

This standard specifies the safety guidelines that should be followed for the installation and acceptance of forced-driven simple lifts. This standard is applicable to simple lifts with rated lifting capacity ≤1500 kg, rated speed ≤0.3 m/s, landings ≤4 floors, and lifting height ≤15 m.
