Scope

This standard specifies the moisture and water resistance testing methods for railway vehicle parts (hereinafter referred to as parts). However, this does not apply to the following: () Electrical equipment and parts. () Parts that require weather resistance or corrosion resistance. () Parts that perform water pressure, airtightness, or leakage tests, regardless of the state of water reception from the outside.
