This document stipulates the principles, specimens, test equipment, test procedures, test result evaluation and test reports of metal material upsetting test methods. This document is applicable to metal materials with the following cross-sectional dimensions (diameter, side length or inscribed circle diameter) range: 5mm~50mm for cold upsetting test, 5mm~200mm for hot upsetting test. For metal materials that are beyond the scope of application of this document, they should comply with the provisions of relevant product standards or agreements.
