Scope: 1.1 This test method covers the equipment and the procedure for evaluation of quenching characteristics of a quenching fluid by cooling rate determination. 1.2 This test method is designed to evaluate quenching fluids with agitation, using the Tensi agitation apparatus. 1.3 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
