- This standard specifies the detection methods, calculations and parameter expressions of energy consumption of cold chamber and hot chamber die-casting machines (hereinafter referred to as "die-casting machines"). This standard is applicable to the energy consumption detection of die-casting machines. This standard does not apply to the energy consumption testing of auxiliary equipment of die casting machines, such as holding furnaces, feeding, picking, spraying and other equipment of cold chamber die casting machines, and equipment such as picking and spraying of hot chamber die casting machines.
