- This standard specifies the general requirements for communication quality, industrial control network performance and industrial control network functions of wired industrial control network and equipment in the industrial field environment in the intelligent manufacturing system, including: a) "Basic requirements for communication quality assurance" , b) performance requirements for industrial control networks, c) functional requirements for industrial control networks. This standard applies to manufacturers, system integrators and users of wired industrial control networks and network equipment.
