Scope

This standard specifies the equipment, reagents and methods for corrosion testing of low-alloy structural steel in simulated soil environments. This standard is applicable to indoor simulated soil corrosion tests and accelerated soil corrosion tests of low-alloy structural steel, and is not applicable to long-range corrosion tests in soil environments.
