- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, basic requirements, working conditions, measurement characteristics, structure and materials, appearance and marking, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and Storage, quality service commitment and other requirements. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and testing of gas meters with a maximum working pressure not exceeding 50kPa, a maximum flow not exceeding 6m3/h, and an accuracy level of 1.5. Unless otherwise stated, the pressures mentioned in this standard refer to pressure relative to atmospheric pressure (gauge pressure).
