- This standard specifies the working procedures for environmental assessment of contaminated sites and the general requirements for the three stages of pollution identification, on-site sampling analysis, and risk assessment. This standard is applicable to site environmental assessment during the development and reuse of industrial land. Other types of site environmental assessment may refer to these guidelines. This standard does not apply to site evaluation involving radioactive contamination.
