- This document establishes the technical requirements for cattle feeding tests for the determination of rumen degradation rate of ruminant feeds in the safety evaluation of livestock and poultry feeds, and stipulates operational guidelines for the stages of test plan design, feed preparation, test implementation, test reports and data archiving. . This document applies to cattle feeding trials for determination of rumen degradation rates of plant-based feed ingredients and feed products.
