Scope: This document specifies the guidelines and requirements for the selection of seamless casings, tubing and downhole tools for CO2 gas injection wells and gas production wells in environments with high pressure and high CO2 content (content higher than 10% and partial pressure higher than 1 MPa). within the scope of this document. This document only considers the compatibility of materials with the environment. This document involves the following contents: ---corrosion evaluation; ---material selection; ---corrosion control. This document applies to wells with high CO2 content, and many requirements also apply to wells with low CO2 content. Material selection is affected by many factors and their synergistic effects, and should be carried out by materials engineers or corrosion engineers.
