T/CHSA 004-2021 Expert consensus on the treatment of potential oral malignant diseases with 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (English Version)
Photodynamic therapy is an emerging and developing discipline. It is also an interdisciplinary discipline involving pharmacy, optics, chemistry, metrology, cell and molecular biology, therapeutics and a variety of clinical disciplines. It is a medicine that uses photosensitizers and light sources. - Mechanical combination therapy is a new non-invasive treatment technology that selectively destroys diseased tissues by producing cytotoxic substances (such as singlet oxygen) through photochemical reactions with the participation of oxygen molecules in biological tissues. In recent years, scholars of oral mucosal diseases have gradually applied photodynamic therapy to treat some oral mucosal diseases, and achieved good results; this consensus solves the current clinical problems in the treatment of potentially malignant oral diseases and provides a scientific basis for treatment.
