Scope

This standard is mainly used in homes for electric circuits with a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and AC 250V or less. Specifies plug-in connectors (hereinafter referred to as connectors) for electrical appliances with a rated current of 15A or less that are used to connect electrical equipment and power cords used in offices, etc.
