This document specifies the terms and definitions for disease resistance identification of sugarcane red rot, disease symptoms and epidemic characteristics, material preparation and planting, inoculum preparation, inoculation solution preparation, inoculation methods, disease investigation, and disease resistance evaluation. This document is applicable to the artificial inoculation identification and evaluation of sugarcane red rot disease resistance of germplasm resources in the genus Sugarcane and its closely related genera, and interspecific hybrids of the genus Sugarcane.
