Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, grades, technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and quality certificates of Al2O3-SiC-C refractory materials used for lining molten iron pretreatment. This document is applicable to the lining of Al2O3-SiC-C refractory materials for hot metal transportation and pretreatment equipment such as torpedo-type iron mixers and hot metal ladles (tanks).
