1.1 This standard describes the requirements and testing for materials, components, fitness for purpose and other important construction and finish characteristics, and installation of the finished product. The standard also specifies marking requirements. 1.2 Non-recirculating toilets covered by this standard are those which are connected to a water distribution network and whose evacuation takes place into a retention tank. These devices are intended for use in camping vehicles and must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's mounting instructions.
