(1) Scope This specification specifies the test design, test model settings, test methods, fire equivalent calculation methods, safety protection measures and test reports for large-scale converter transformer physical fire simulation tests. This specification is applicable to outdoor fire simulation tests of ±500kV and above large converter transformers, effectiveness verification of large converter transformer fire extinguishing systems and fire emergency rescue drills. (2) Normative reference documents (3) Terms and definitions include the definitions of converter variable solid fire model, converter variable solid fire scenario, oil pool fire, flowing fire, spray fire, and pre-ignition time. (4) The test design includes provisions for the converter transformer physical fire model and large-scale converter transformer fire scenario design.
