Scope

This standard specifies direct-acting spring safety valves for steam and gas spring safety valves (hereinafter referred to as safety valves when there is no need to distinguish between steam or gas applications), which are direct-acting spring safety valves using cylindrical coil springs. However, the following items are not included.
